About BrewTested

BrewTested is an independent review site covering coffee makers, grinders, espresso machines, and kitchen gear. We exist because buying coffee equipment is confusing — brands overpromise, prices vary wildly, and most "reviews" are just product descriptions.

How We Research

We don't claim to physically test every product. Instead, we do what a thorough buyer would: we study specs, dig through owner reviews on Amazon and Reddit, cross-reference common failure points, compare manufacturer claims to real-world feedback, and synthesize that into honest recommendations.

When we say "we tested" in older posts, we mean we researched thoroughly — spec analysis, owner feedback patterns, and expert community input. We're updating our language across the site to make this clearer.
